讲座摘要
Many observers have asserted that there is a correlation between emotions and asset market behavior.We conduct laboratory experiments to examine the causality in this relationship. The results show that neither incidental emotions, induced by VR videos, nor integral emotions, generated from market participation, influence market prices. However, there is a strong relationship between market activity and subsequent emotional states, suggesting that the correlation between emotions and market activity is driven mostly by market activity influencing emotions, not the other way around.

Charles Noussair 教授目前是亚利桑那大学埃勒管理学院经济学教授和经济科学实验室主任。Noussair教授专注研究实验经济学、实验金融学和行为金融学。他是经济科学协会的现任主席和实验金融学会主席。另外，他在American Economic Review , Econometrica , Review of Economics Studies , Journal of Political Economy , Journal of Finance , Management Science , Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis , Journal of Public Economics , Review of Finance等学术期刊上发表文章。
